Mr. Nguyen Tat Thang previously served as Head of the Legal Normative Documents Review Division at the Department of Legal Document Examination, Ministry of Justice. Prior to founding and managing DTLAW, Lawyer Nguyen Tat Thang accumulated extensive experience as a senior legal counsel at Vingroup, Aliat Legal, and SMiC Law Firm. His professional practice focuses on corporate compliance, foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, financial transactions, securities, banking, and dispute resolution through arbitration and court litigation.
Profession
Member of the Hanoi Bar Association, the Vietnam Bar Federation, and the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA). He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Hanoi Law University and a Master of Laws in International Commercial Law from The University of Queensland, Australia.

Vietnam Television (VTV): Advising and representing VTV in the divestment and transfer of its capital contribution in Vietnam Satellite Digital Television Company Limited (VSTV), a joint venture project with a French investor.
GIC (Singapore Sovereign Wealth Fund): Advising and representing GIC in M&A transactions for the acquisition of a chain of clinics and hospitals in Vietnam.
GCL Southern Intelligent Energy Holdings (China): Advising and representing GCL in the acquisition of a wind power company in Vietnam.
Investment & Projects
– Tư vấn và hỗ trợ các giao dịch, hợp đồng, thỏa thuận liên quan đến các dự án bất động sản cho Ngân hàng Hàng hải Việt Nam (MSB).
– Tư vấn và thực hiện điều chỉnh đầu tư để nâng cấp và mở rộng quy mô dự án sản xuất linh kiện điện tử cho Cresyn (Nhật Bản).
– Tư vấn về chuyển đổi khoản vay nước ngoài thành vốn góp cho nhà đầu tư nước ngoài cho Mazzucchelli (Italia), đảm bảo tuân thủ đầy đủ pháp luật đầu tư của Việt Nam.
– Tư vấn và hỗ trợ thành lập liên doanh giữa JIASHAN FUGUANG (Trung Quốc) và Công ty Cổ phần Công nghệ Mạ Hợp Lực để xây dựng nhà máy xi mạ, tráng phủ công nghiệp.
Dispute Resolution
– Tư vấn và đại diện MAGB – Hãng hàng không Malaysia (Malaysia Airlines) trong quá trình giải quyết tranh chấp thương mại và yêu cầu bồi thường với một doanh nghiệp tại Việt Nam.
– Tư vấn và đại diện Novacos Vina, một công ty có vốn đầu tư Hàn Quốc, trong việc khởi kiện một doanh nghiệp Việt Nam để yêu cầu bồi thường thiệt hại theo hợp đồng thi công nhà máy sản xuất linh kiện điện tử.
– Tư vấn và đại diện Công ty Xây dựng AMB trong một tranh chấp tại Trung tâm Trọng tài Quốc tế Việt Nam (VIAC) với Công ty Cổ phần Kỹ thuật & Xây dựng Handong (Hàn Quốc).
– Tư vấn và đại diện SEADANANG trong quá trình thi hành án dân sự đối với các bản án liên quan đến tranh chấp kinh doanh thương mại.
Hop Luc Construction Group: Advising and representing Hop Luc in a contractual dispute with Hua Lợi Đạt (China) before Vietnamese courts in connection with the performance of a textile factory construction contract.
Anti-Dumping
Tata Steel (India): Advising and representing Tata Steel in an anti-dumping investigation conducted by the competent Vietnamese authorities concerning certain steel products originating from China and Korea.
Hyundai Steel (Korea): Advising and representing Hyundai Steel in an anti-dumping investigation conducted by the competent Vietnamese authorities concerning imported steel products.
